WK800-D-4ml

Product features

Material anaerobic-non toxic

Adhesive or heat sink in syringe form WK 800 attaches heat sinks to components and parts. It also allows parts and components to adhere securely to vertical cooling surfaces, as well as to metal housing surfaces and side walls without clamps, screws or other mechanical fasteners. Typical applications include bonding transformers, transistors, microprocessors and other heat-emitting components to circuit boards or coolers. WK 800 is particularly well suited for attaching LED chips to heat sinks. Max. bonding gap: 0.25 mm Shear strength: 5.5 N/mm2 Tensile strength: 15.2 N/mm2 Thermal expansion coefficient: 110 ppm/K Thermal conductivity: 0.76 W/mK Dielectric strength: 26.78 kV/mm Flammability: V-0 Processing temperature: 20-28 °C Operating temperature -55 - +150 °C Storage temperature: 8 - 28 °C Shelf life at 22 °C: min. 3 years The half-life after opening is 1 year WK 800 has many advantages over traditional adhesive bonds such as thermal hot melt adhesives or epoxy adhesives. It ensures long-term application with reliable thermal and technical properties. The adhesive is easy to process, significantly reducing manufacturing costs and repair times during servicing. Surfaces coated with WK 800 adhesive or activator can be left to rest for an almost unlimited period of time without the properties of the bond deteriorating. APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Recommended tools: cotton cloth, non-fibrous, cleaning agent [e.g. toluene, isopropyl alcohol] Please observe the safety regulations for solvents. Wear rubber gloves for longer jobs! Yield: 1 ml WK800-D = 100 cm² / with 0.1 mm application 1 ml WK800-A = 200 cm² / with 0.1 mm application WK800-D Rule of thumb: Amount of adhesive per 1 cm² = 1 cm * 1 cm * 0.01 cm = 0.01 cm³ corresponds to 0.01 ml The smallest tube of WK800-D (4 ml) is sufficient for approx. 400 adhesive surfaces of 1 cm² each, assuming an adhesive thickness of 0.1 mm. WK800-A One 10 ml bottle (equivalent to 10 cm3) is sufficient for approx. 2000 bonds. One bottle of activator (10 ml) is sufficient for approx. 5 tubes of Dissipator, each containing 4 ml. The yield of the activator is therefore at least twice that of the adhesive itself. If 0.2 mm is applied instead of 0.1 mm, the quantity is halved accordingly.
